At 09:24am the Downingtown Fire Department was dispatched to Lowe’s in East Caln Township for smoke from a dumpster. Engine 45 arrived first and confirmed there was an active fire in the dumpster. Engine 46-2 laid a 5” supply line from a hydrant to supply Engine 45. Crews went into service with a handline to extinguish the fire and secure power to the compactor. Total time in service was just over an hour.
