Earlier this morning Engine 46-2, MICU 46, and Engine 45 from Alert Fire Co. No. 1 were dispatched for a vehicle fire on the Route 30 Bypass in East Caln Township. Crews arrived to find smoke coming from an enclosed utility trailer. The fire was quickly extinguished using a front bumper preconnect hose line. The trailer was then moved off the Bypass to empty the contents and ensure there wasn’t any additional fire.
