No Caption Collaborative Fire and EMS Training

On Wednesday evening, Minquas Fire Company No. 2 and Alert Fire Company No. 1 members conducted a joint training with our EMS Division. We practiced our CPR skills and reviewed how to use other EMS equipment from our BLS bags, stretchers, stair chairs, Reeve's, etc. We will continue these joint EMS reviews/trainings periodically throughout the year so we can work together effectively on the scene ... Building a Stronger, Safer Community—Together

This past Saturday, December 6th, Minquas EMS had the privilege of partnering with our colleagues at the Thorndale Fire Company and Caln Township Firefighters to host another successful Community CPR & Stop the Bleed training.

No Caption Residential Fire in Downingtown Borough

Around 11:00pm on July 4th the Downingtown Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire in Downingtown Borough. Assistant 45 (J. Trego) arrived first to find a fully involved shed between two homes with fire extending into the one home. Crews from Tower 45 and Engine 45 arrived and began with fire attack.
