Around 11:00pm on July 4th the Downingtown Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire in Downingtown Borough. Assistant 45 (J. Trego) arrived first to find a fully involved shed between two homes with fire extending into the one home. Crews from Tower 45 and Engine 45 arrived and began with fire attack. During the evening of Thursday, June 26th Engine 46-2 was dispatched to assist Lionville Fire Company and surrounding mutual aid on a residential fire in Uwchlan Township. First arriving units arrived to find fire through the roof. The crew from Engine 46-2 assisted with fire attack on the second floor and checking for extension.
