| This past Saturday, December 6th, Minquas EMS had the privilege of partnering with our colleagues at the Thorndale Fire Company and Caln Township Firefighters to host another successful Community CPR & Stop the Bleed training.
We are proud to share that 24 community members completed this lifesaving training—adding to the 19 residents trained at our May session. In just two events, 43 neighbors now have the skills and confidence to take action when every second matters.
According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival during cardiac arrest. That means 43 newly trained residents represent not just numbers—but potential lives saved, families kept whole, and a stronger safety net woven throughout our community.
These trainings are a direct reflection of what we can accomplish when we work across municipal lines with one mission in mind: to protect and empower the people we serve. Our partnership spanning five municipalities continues to prove that we are stronger together and our residents are safer because of it.
A heartfelt thank-you to all who joined us, to our dedicated instructors, and to our municipal partners who continue to invest in community preparedness. We look forward to offering even more opportunities in 2026 as we continue strengthening the greater Downingtown region. |
