This afternoon, Engine 46-2, MICU 46-4, Tower 45, Engine 45, and Downingtown Fire Police responded to Truman Way in East Caln Township for a reported house fire.

Engine 46-2 arrived first due securing a water supply and stretching an 1-3/4” attack line. Upon arrival the homeowner had extinguished the fire using a fire extinguisher and garden hose.

Crews remained on scene for a little over an hour ventilating and performing overhaul checking for extension. We’d like to thank our mutual aid partners for your assistance.
