At 6:48pm Engine 46-2 was dispatched to assist Lionville Fire Company and additional mutual aid on a mobile home fire in Uwchlan Township. Engine 46-2 made the response while the assignment was quickly upgraded to a working fire, which added Air 46. Engine 46-2 arrived as the first due engine and immediately went into service with a handline for fire attack. The crew from Air 46 supplemented the crew completing fire attack. The fire in both units was brought under control and crews remained in service for close to three hours.

An additional crew was on standby in station along with an engine from West Bradford Fire Company for any additional calls within Downingtown Borough or East Caln Township. We'd like to thank their crew for assisting us in getting our equipment and hose cleaned up and ready for service.
