Engine 46-1, Engine 46-2, and Tower 45 (Alert Fire Company No.1) were dispatched and responded to Talbots in East Caln Township for the electrical fire inside. The reporting party stated there was smoke coming from an above light fixture and could smell an electric fire. Upon investigation it was determined that an exhaust fan in a bathroom was the cause.
Businesses and homeowners should periodically check their exhaust fans to ensure they are operating correctly and that there are no obstructions in the fan.
