At 10:13 this morning the Downingtown Fire Department was dispatched to a tree down across wires on Downing Circle in East Caln Township. Engine 46-2, Ambulance 46-1, and Downingtown Fire Police made the response. Crews arrived to find smoke and substantial arcing from the power lines and downed limb. An 1-3/4” hand line was pulled and water supply established as a precaution due to the close proximity of several exposures. Crews remained on scene until PECO arrived to secure the utilities and all hot spots were extinguished.
