On Saturday, September 22nd Engine 46-2 relocated to the Avondale Fire Company (Station 23) to cover their station for calls while they celebrated their 125th Anniversary and Housing. In addition to Engine 46-2, West Bradford Fire Company (Station 39) and Christiana Fire Company (Lancaster County Station 52) also provided coverage during the event. Crews handled no calls during the coverage and were treated to a nice dinner by the Avondale Fire Company.
The officers and members of the Minquas Fire Company No.2 would like to congratulate the Avondale Fire Company on their 125th year Anniversary of Service. Additionally we would like to thank them for giving us the opportunity to provide coverage to their area.
