Members Complete Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician Training

Over the past month members met on various weekends attending both classroom and field basic vehicle rescue training. Class met from 8AM-4PM on Saturday's and Sundays. The first weekend basic vehicle rescue awareness was completed, followed two weeks later by basic vehicle rescue operations level, and finally two weeks after operations technical level training was completed. Firefighters and EMT's became familiar with car anatomy, rescue tools, patient care and extrication. Later this week technician level state testing will be completed at the Government Services Center. Continual education in the fire service is the key to success as we train for tomorrow to protect the citizens of our community.
