7 Bays provide for adequate space for the fire and emergency apparatus.

The Minquas Fire Company is moving from our historic location on East Lancaster Avenue to our new home on the 100 block of Wallace Avenue. The move will enable the fire company to relocate from the Business Route 30 location.  The relocation will result in less traffic tie-ups for responding and returning apparatus. It will also provide for better safety for our volunteers.

The larger building will allow for quicker response to an emergency. The appropriate fire and EMS apparatus will have its own garage door.

The new building will be larger and will allow us to better serve our residents for years to come.

To facilitate the transfer we are asking support form the community as we seek to raise $850,000 to avoid having to secure a mortgage. We need to ensure Downingtown has a financially healthy fire company.
