Congratulations to Probationary Firefighter Sean Cooper for completing your first Fire class through the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus!

Sean recently spent time taking Junior Firefighter. This class is for teenagers and teaches them the jobs they can perform at an emergency incident. These skills include: raising and lowering ladders, rolling hose, hydrant operations, and etc. Once he turns 18 Sean will be eligible to take Firefighter I to become an interior firefighter.

We are always looking for more volunteers like Sean. He joined our fire company earlier this year and has been a great asset to the Downingtown Fire Department. Please contact us if you’re interested in learning about the many different ways you can volunteer.
