From EMS Chief Andrew Steward:

Minquas EMS recently took delivery of Ambulance 46-4. This is a new 2021 Ford F-550 4x4 Horton Type 1 Ambulance from VCI. Over the next several days, the department will be preparing the vehicle for its state DOH inspection to certify the vehicle prior to it being put into service.

The new ambulance features a Stryker Power Loading System, a Lucas Chest Compression Device and a LifePak 15 Cardiac Monitor.
The purchase of the new 46-4 Ambulance was part of the EMS Leadership Team’s plan to improve capabilities and ensures we have the latest and best vehicles and equipment to serve our community. We’re excited to put Ambulance 46-4 into service very soon!!
