On Tuesday evening Downingtown Fire Department was dispatched to a gas leak in the Ashbridge Square Shopping Center. Engine 46-2 and Air 46 made the response. Upon investigation an active gas leak was found. Peco was notified and Station 6 (West Whiteland Fire Company) was added for additional resources. The incident was turned over to Peco and all responding units were made available after about 2.5 hours in service.
