At 9:03 pm, Minquas Fire Company No.2 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident vs. tree on Norwood Road in East Caln Township. This was quickly upgraded to a vehicle fire and then again upgraded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
Engine 46-2 arrived on scene within minutes and crews were able to pull the driver away from the burning vehicle after a good Samaritan extricated the driver. An 1-3/4” hand line was deployed and firefighters quickly placed the fire under control.
