This evening the active force attended an annual special meeting, which is held on the second Sunday of December at 7:00PM, to elect the line officers for the upcoming 2014 term. The positions are traditionally determined by a ballot vote. A committee assembled 1 month prior to the election determining which nominees were eligible to run in the election. Due to eligibility findings a special election was held for the position of Station Chief. Lieutenants A, B, and C being the only other position voted on by the Active Membership due to nominees declining their nomination or running unopposed.

The 2014 Fire/EMS Officers are as follows:

Assistant 46: Glenn Heininger

Fire Captain: Kenny Boyd

EMS Captain: Jon Moles

Fire Lieutenant A: Tim Swisher

Fire Lieutenant B: Justin Kowalczyk

Fire Lieutenant C: Tommy Lee IV

All of the elected officers will begin their one-year term on January 1, 2014.

The 2014 EMS Captain will appoint up to three Lieutenants to serve under him for the term.

We would like to thank outgoing Deputy Chief Michael Miller for his many years as a line officer and outgoing Fire Lieutenant Keith Whitely for his service.
