Minquas Assist to Thorndale

Shortly after 2 PM today, Station 46 was dispatched for 2 engines and Air 46 to assist Station 38 (Thorndale Fire Company) on the 2900 block of Honeymead Road for a working house fire. Engine 46-2 and 46-1 both responded to assist Thorndale. As units were arriving Honeymead CP placed the fire under control. Crews from Minquas were directed to head to the manpower pool and were utilized on the fire ground in various capacities. Units cleared from the scene after approximately an hour of service and returned to Downingtown Borough.

Thank you to Engine 61 (Kimberton Fire Company) for protecting our coverage area while units were in service.
