| Downingtown Fire Department (Alert and Minquas) was dispatched for the third time today just after 9:00 PM to Southbound Quarry Road south of the on ramp to eastbound 30 Bypass. Chief 46 and Ambulance and Medic 46 made the response and arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident spread out between the intersection. Engine 46-2 and Rescue 45 along with Engine 45 responded and while enroute were advised by Chief 46 that a door may need to be popped. EMS was able to remove patient from vehicle without hydraulic tools. Crews assisted on scene until Ambulance 46-1 transported one patient to the hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation. |
