At approximately 10:16 AM today Minquas Engine 46-2, along with Delco Truck 6-9, Rescue 61 (Kimberton), Engine 47-2 (Lionville), Ambulance 55-3 (GFAC) , and Montco Medic 308-6-7 were dispatched for a relocate to Chester County Station 2. Station 2 along with neighboring mutual aid companies were working a multiple alarm apartment fire and had the need to call in stations from as far away as Downingtown Borough to assist. Engine 46-2 responded with a full crew of 6 and protected the Station 2 local until their units went back in service. Engine 46-2 returned to Downingtown Borough at 1:22 PM. Minquas Fire and EMS is always happy to be able to assist our neighboring companies when needed.
