WINTER WORKNIGHT GOES OFF WITHOUT A HITCH…   By Captain Tim Swisher January 20, 2010   On Wednesday, January 20, 2010 members of the Minquas Fire Co. #2 held our weekly training night with outside help from instructors Brad Cosgrove and Joe Whisler from the Fame Fire Company. The instruction began with basic ropes and knots, then moved on to rigging stokes baskets and basic lifts. Once members had that down, things got more complex when the Z-Rig came out! What looked complicated at first, took only a few times for members to get it down. We then finished the night with an evolution to tie everything together that we learned.
