Another busy, four call day for Minquas Fire / EMS was encountered on Tuesday this week.
The day started off early with an automobile accident in the area of Boot Road and Clover Mill Road. Chief 46 recalled Engine 46-2 shortly after it made a response due to no need for fire services at the scene.
Next Station 46 was dispatched to Acorn Lane around 1200 hrs for a fire alarm in a commercial occupancy. Engine 46-1 made the response with a full crew but was recalled by Chief 46 with no services required.
Within the hour Station 46 fire was dispatched again, this time to assist the ambulance crews with lifting on an EMS call. Engine 46-2 responded quickly with a full crew.
Shortly after 6 PM, Station 46 was alerted again, this time for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm. Engine 46-2 and Air 46 responded to the call. After a thorough search of the house with gas meters, no carbon monoxide levels were detected. Deputy 45 cleared Engine and Air 46 shortly after, thus concluding another busy day at Minquas Fire Company #2.
