| Minquas Fire Co. No. 2 would like to extend our warm wishes and congratulations to our sister Fire Company, Alert No. 1, on the delivery of your new E-One Tower!
Saturday evening members from Minquas traveled uptown to Alert for a first look at the Fire Department's new piece of apparatus.
The future Tower 45 is a significant upgrade for The Downingtown Fire Department to replace the current aging 1987 Tower.
An estimated 100 people visited Alert's station to see the aerial device including Borough of Downingtown elected officials and both firefighters and Officers from neighboring fire departments. The Borough and surrounding municipalities can continue to sleep safe at night knowing their local or neighboring Fire Department is up to date and well equipped to respond in times of need. |
