Minquas EMS Celebrates It's Newest Graduate from EMT School
By Minquas Fire Company No. 2
December 20, 2011
Minquas EMS would like to formally recognize a member of our organization who took the extra initiative to become an Emergency Medical Technician.
Kerri Downes successfully completed the EMT program that was offered by Chester County Department of Emergency Services and has received her PA DOH EMT Basic Certification. This program requires dedication on the part of the students and sacrifices from being away from family during the three days of the week that classes are held for the duration of 15 weeks of the program. This amounts to countless hours of classroom instruction, practical application of the lecture material, and studying while also being a full time high school student. Kerri was also recognized for having perfect attendance in class.
Congratulations on your achievement, Kerri, and welcome to the brotherhood of EMS providers worldwide!
